Kim Boatman is a veteran editor who writes frequently about dogs and cats. Boatman managed a wide variety of topics for more than 15 years at theSan Jose Mercury News, recognized as one of the country’s top newspapers. Her articles have appeared in the Chicago Tribune, The Miami Herald, and the Detroit Free Press, among countless other newspapers. She is a lifelong lover of animals.

Colleen Canney is an associate editor at Studio One Networks. She has worked on a variety of programs, ensuring quality in content and style.

Linda Goldston, theSan Jose Mercury News’ award-winning pet columnist, has written about animals for 20 years. Goldston grew up with a succession of dogs and was blessed to have shared the antics of a bearded collie named Lucy for 18 years.

Monique Balas is an award-winning journalist and currently the “Pet Talk” columnist for The Oregonian newspaper. Balas was a staff reporter at several newspapers, including the Bend Bulletin, and has freelanced for a variety of print and online publications. 

Todd Wasserman is a journalist with 20 years of experience writing for various publications including The New York Times. Formerly the editor in chief of Brandweek, he is currently the business and marketing editor at Mashable. Wasserman is currently the proud owner of a black Labrador named Mura.
